Somos una organización sin fines de lucro puertorriqueño, que trabaja en colaboración con la USDA-NRCS (Servicio de Conservación de Recursos Naturales) y NACD (Asociación Nacional de Distritos de Conservación) proveyendo servicios a los agricultores, usarios de terrenos y estudiantes en los pueblos de Peñuelas, Ponce, Juana Diaz, Villalba, Coamo, Santa Isabel y Salinas.

Who are we?

Distrito Caribe de Conservación de Suelos Inc. is a Puerto Rican nonprofit organization dedicated to soil and natural resource conservation. Working in collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS) and the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD), we provide essential support to farmers, landowners, and students across the municipalities of Peñuelas, Ponce, Juana Díaz, Villalba, Coamo, Santa Isabel, and Salinas.

Our mission is to promote sustainable land management practices, enhance soil health, and protect natural resources through education, technical assistance, and conservation programs. By fostering strong partnerships and community engagement, we strive to create a healthier environment and a more resilient agricultural sector in Puerto Rico.
